Day 5 - Six Places

I continue with the challenge. (Not that anyone is noticing but I have skipped Day 4 - Seven Wants. Because really, all I want is WORLD PEACE. And INNER BEAUTY.)

Day 5 - Six Places. This is as heartfelt as they come...

1. Goa.

Because everyone must have at least 1 good Goa story. And mine is long overdue. (Calangute beach with Dad and Mom is not counted.) The last time my Ashiana girls went together they wound up on Page 3 of the Goa Times. That's what I'm talking about. Besides, I owe my dearest friend LD a visit. Don't give up on me yet. One day I shall.

2. Tirupathi

The last time (which was also the first) I went, I stood with my sun glasses on my head and the priest had to call me out. This time I want to do it like I mean it.

3. Small town America.

If you've read a Debbie Macomber you know what I'm talking about. It could be as nondescript as Jamestown, North Dakota - where time stands still, where there's a shop around the corner that sells home made fudgesicles and where the Cattle Dance is the biggest shindig of the year.

4. A Yash Chopra locale

And it doesn't matter which. If I'm as lucky as SRK I may spot me my own TOOTHA TARA. Because Goddamit you put that man in a black hole and he'll still find a TOOTHA TARA.

5. Sikkim

(picture of the spectacular Kanchenjunga)

This isn't really mine - it's on SK's list and I'd love for us to go. I was proud to see that Sikkim Tourism has it's own website - http://www.sikkimtourism.travel/

6. The South of France

Take me away. Yes, you sistah.
