Continuing with the 10 DAY YOU CHALLENGE.
Both my songs are power songs. I've always believed in the POWER of a power song and have had different ones at different times.
What is a POWER SONG?
- One that makes you sing full throttle, without inhibition.
- A song that inspires you to take charge of all the s*** that has gone awry
- You close your eyes and feel the lyrics pulsing through you
- A you-know-you-can-conquer-the-world song
- A pick-me-up song
- A WONDER-WOMAN song.
- A song that for the 3 minutes and 30 seconds that it plays it takes you to another world, another place.
- You push the 'replay' button, again and again and again. (Or as they say in the Motherland, you make a papad out of it)
- A POWER song.

La Isla Bonita - Madonna (not as much a power song as a I'm-feeling-sad-and-need-to-feel-sadder-song.... if you know what I mean)
Man, I feel like a Woman - Shania Twain
You're Still the One - Shania Twain
A good Hindi power song is Roobaroo Roshni from Rang de Basanti

So many great choices and artists!! It would be impossible to narrow it down to just 2 - there are SO many!! :)
O wow.. Halo and Roobaroo are in my list as well. Well Halo is definitely the 'power' song. It plays on repeat many a times. Roobaroo shares its place with a few more like Iktara, Tum se hi and Kandisa in my list but still top spot.
